Lancashire Law School’s Breakfast@8 quarterly events bring together lawyers, businesses small and large, students and academics to discuss and debate aspects of work and the professions.

When a dispute arises between colleagues in the workplace, the implications can reach far and wide. These include staff going on sickness leave, decline in productivity, financial implications, and an unhappy workforce. Lancashire Law School Workplace Mediation provides an early intervention, which is impartial and non-judgemental. It also provides an opportunity to sit down with the parties to discuss the issues, and then look to the future and how they can make their work relationships succeed moving forwards.

When and who is speaking

Join us at 8am on 27 September 2018 for an interactive and practical Breakfast@8 session, led by Emma Mcandry, Reader in Mediation at Lancashire Law School. The session includes a live dispute in the workplace scenario giving attendees first-hand experience of how workplace mediation works.

Breakfast & networking

Join us for breakfast from 7.45am and meet other businesses to discuss this important & interesting topic. You can also grab another brew and continue your conversations after 9am with Emma and other attendees from businesses large and small.
