As a 1st Line Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
·Responding to emails and phone requests to maintain the operation of the customer’s computer systems to an agreed level.
·Providing remote, as well as some onsite support, ensuring the business is achieving its targets.
·Taking responsibility for both reactive and proactive maintenance activities.
·Following agreed processes and procedures for the team.
·Assisting in the implementation of all IT policies and procedures relating to asset management for hardware, software and equipment.
·Maintaining all IT service documentation.
To be a successful 1st Line Support Engineer, you will have the following skills and experiences:
·Previous working experience within an MSP environment or to hold a relevant degree or equivalent.
·An understanding and preferable experience on ITIL processes and service delivery software is beneficial but is not essential.
·Strong customer service, communication and analytical skills with the ability to manage your time effectively.
·A full clean driving license.
·Good knowledge of Windows Services, Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, Microsoft Application Support, Citrix, Active Directory/Exchange, Hardware Support, Service Management, Networking, VMWare and Hyper V.
