Job Title: HR Administrator
Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for a unique opportunity?
LHR are proud to be partnered exclusively with a Blackburn based school, who are now looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join their busy team. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday.
The successful HR Administrator will support the Head of HR & Operations in a fast-paced and varied role.
Key duties of the HR Administrator:
·Administer starter / leaver processes including all documentation and induction process.
·Prepare all letters and contracts for new starters, including contractual changes for existing employees.
·Process induction templates and new starter checklists to ensure a smooth on boarding process for new employees.
·Provide administrative support to line managers in relation to HR processes, including note taking at investigations of formal meetings, telephone answering, collating data, inputting data using the school’s software, scanning, photocopying and emails.
·Accurate data inputting in relation to absences, holiday leave, maternity, paternity.
·Input training data into HR software.
·To assist and undertake a proactive role in all HR related policies including disciplinary, capability and attendance management issues.
·Support in recruitment, scheduling interviews and issuing correspondence, reference checks.
·Payroll support, collating monthly data for overtime undertaken, changes to pay, hours.
·Assist in processing salary sacrifice of Child Care Vouchers and private health care, SMP, SSP, SAP, and other statutory deductions, issuing P45’s, P60’s
The successful HR Administrator:
·Previous experience within a HR Administrator / HR Assistant role is essential
·Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
·CIPD Level 3 qualification is an advantage but not essential
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prestigious education team. Lunch is provided in their restaurant, and there is on-site parking. Candidates will be subject to a DBS check for this role.
