Are you a HR professional looking to take your first independent role? I’m recruiting for an experienced CIPD level 5 HR advisor, to join our award winning client based in Preston. Due to their continued success they have created this position.
This is a stand alone role, so you must be confident in your ability and decision making. Although for high level technical issues there is 3rd party support. The Directors are looking for you to make your own decisions and will be guided by you.
Our client has a fantastic working environment and have low staff turnover, so we are looking for someone to continue with the clients engagement strategy.
Whilst the company is well established the processes and procedures are basic and the successful person will have an opportunity to change/develop what they already have in place.
The day to day role is to support managers within general HR advisor position and you must be able to demonstrate at interview your ability to deal with disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment, absence, inductions.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the training records are kept up to date, appraisals take place and communicating to all employees, some off which work off site.
This is a really exciting opportunity for the right person, the company has a real ‘fun’ feeling to it and they don’t want to lose that as the business grows. Working on the culture and strategy with the Directors is crucial to the companies future.
Hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 per week. Due to the nature of the business you may be required to be on site outside of 9-5 to speak to employees. fantastic benefits are on offer, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. Salary £22,000-£25,000 DOE.
