As a Production Office Engineer, your duties will be to:
·Improve the build manuals using Autodesk Inventor on an ongoing basis and provide the customer with manuals for their vehicles upon completion
·Manage and check build times and implement processes to ensure that all jobs are consistent in relation to build time etc
·Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to organise all aspects of the build, the making of new RCV’s and ensure that they arrive together at the right time to improve efficiency
·Update all customers with a progress report for each stage of the build
·Create technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor and organise production
·Review the build time of the trucks, analyse production time per task and create and implement processes and procedures to achieve consistency for each stage in the production cycle
To be a successful Production Office Engineer, you will have the following skills:
·Good mechanical understanding
·Knowledge and understanding of production strategies
·Experience with technical drawings
·An interest in moving into management in future
·Some commercial experience is heavily desired
·Experience within design and build – there is flexibility regarding specific experience/background of candidates and an open mind will be applied to applications
