12 months Fixed Term Contract (with possible extension)

5 days per week 37.5 hours per/week


  • To recruit eligible businesses for new and existing projects including Boost Business Lancashire Growth Mentoring project, by building successful relationships and effective networking. To ensure project recruitment KPIs are met.


  • Attend various events, make presentations and network effectively.

  • To develop relevant interest and engagement from potential clients, partners (if applicable) and the wider business support arena.

  • Arrange and attend client sign-up meetings across Lancashire, ensuring that CBP is portrayed in a professional manner at all times.

  • Assess clients’ needs and requirements, accurately complete funder documentation, make relevant referrals and allocate to a suitable business mentor.

  • Ensure effective diary and time management and meeting locations are planned in appropriately to minimise carbon footprint.

  • Manage relationships with both clients and mentors.

  • Prepare for weekly engagement reviews with the Operations Manager.

  • Ensure that all documentation relating to a project is accurate, complete, current and stored appropriately and to be available in formats as requested

  • Effective use of word and excel to support the administration requirement within the role.

  • Effective use of social media to generate leads and raise awareness of CBP and Boost Business Lancashire

  • Support other projects in the Business Team such as assisting with the planning and organisation of the various Lancashire Forums held throughout the year

  • Any other duties deemed suitable for the level of the position within the organisation.
