We are looking for a highly skilled SEO / PPC Manager to support with the growth of our inter-company brands and support our digital clients across a broad range of sectors. As part of your role you will be expected to create strategies for our clients for both organic and paid marketing and will be responsible for implementing the plan and running the activity. This is a hands-on role and requires a result focused performance marketer with extensive knowledge of SEO/PPC including delivery and reporting.


What we're looking for you to bring..

  • SEO and PPC background with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
  • Extensive social media experience including content creation, engagement and paid advertising campaigns across a variety of social media platforms including Facebook and Linkedin
  • Oversee and monitor paid search activity
  • Bid optimisation and management
  • Reporting and analysis of paid activity, track performance and identify areas for improvement where possible
  • Utilise Google Analytics to report across paid activity
  • Keyword research
  • Competitor analysis
  • Good understanding of Google’s algorithm and SEO Best Practices
  • Proven experience working with SEO tools to audit and monitor site performance
  • Proven experience in keyword research
  • Successful experience of growing organic traffic and sales via link building and content creation
  • Self-motivated and results-focused

Main Responsibilities


  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of Paid Search/Pay Per Click (PPC) and social media campaigns including account setup, keywords selection and expansion, audience segmentation, negative keyword governance, website and category exclusions, ad creative and landing page revisions.
  • The successful candidate can identify and interpret trends and patterns to provide actionable recommendations to hone marketing campaigns for optimum performance.
  • Create, deploy and optimise Paid Search and Display campaigns/activity across multiple channels to achieve commercial targets
  • Optimise paid search and advertising display network campaigns including keyword portfolio development, bid adjustment, A/B testing, audience building, remarketing, and landing page optimisation. Constantly devising new experiments to find growth areas
  • Monitor, track and evaluate PPC campaign performance, based on KPI targets including CTR, CPC, CPL and conversion rates
  • Conduct technical SEO analysis with a focus on search rankings, search terms, backlinking, competitor SEO benchmarking, and recommendations to improve website content
  • Keep up to date with paid search best practices, bid management systems, keyword development tools and industry research
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal and qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaigns to improve key performance indicators on an ongoing basis
  • Constantly look to develop the digital strategy with a test and learn approach, implementing new technologies where appropriate to drive qualified traffic to relevant websites
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to guide A/B tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests on campaigns online and offline to identify what works best
  • Collate data from multiple sources across all marketing activities to use in reports, and applying best-in-class analytical techniques to provide meaningful insights that help improve the effectiveness
  • Conduct campaign and channel analysis across all marketing channel, offline and online, to provide data-driven recommendations that support a growth marketing strategy for test & learn experiments, continual refinement and optimisation
  • Build and maintain a suite of dashboards and reports to track marketing performance

Ideal Experience Required

  • Experience in performance marketing (especially paid search, from strategy to implementation and reporting)
  • Good knowledge of the paid search marketing landscape, tools, vendors, and keen interest to keep track of new developments
  • Knowledge of paid search engine advertising tools (Google, Bing, Yahoo) and bid management systems
  • Experience using PPC/SEO tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Pagespeed Insights, AccuRanker, Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush
  • Good understanding of marketing analytics with experience converting data into actionable insights
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret data and identifying trends
  • Experienced in creating reports/dashboards
