An expanding technology company specialising in radio frequency identification and software development for the manufacturing and logistics markets, in addition to solutions for the lifting market, regulated by the HSE and the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) are seeking a Software Sales Executive to join their team. The Company has been expanding over recent years and has attracted significant investment from a large multi-national organisation. The impressive customer base includes blue chip companies such as the Electricity Supply Board, Ocado, BMW-Mini and VP Hire Station. They are now looking for an experienced professional to take a leading role in helping the company in achieving the next round of growth.
The Software Sales Executive will receive a salary of up to £45,000 plus commission with the potential to earn significantly more in commission with no ceiling on total earnings, a car allowance of £6,000 per annum to cover all running costs including insurance, a fuel card which can be used for personal travel and 25 days paid holiday per annum.
As a Software Sales Executive you will:
·Identify and attract new customers, contributing to increasing overall company sales.
·Achieve an annual sales target measured in aggregate gross margin.
·Generate a pipeline so that annual targets can be achieved.
·Prepare a plan to achieve the above and agree with the Managing Director.
·Provide monthly reports on achievement against the plan.
·Provide forecasts for the managing director.
·Contribute ideas on sales and marketing activity to assist in lead generation.
·Be capable of professionally presenting and demonstrating the Company’s products and solutions.
We are looking for a Software Sales Executive with:
·Previous verifiable success as a salesperson and / or management ideally in the information technology sector, selling solutions / software.
·Capability to understand customer requirements and formulating technical solutions.
·Ability to communicate customer requirements to technical team members.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·Strong presentation skills.
·Determination and ability to achieve goals and objectives.
