A growing company established in Wigan, Lancashire, in 1963, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its team. You will be managing the online marketing strategy for procurement and sales campaigns; it is essential that you have Buying Management / Digital Trading experience in an eCommerce environment. Candidates with experience across any industry area will be considered, however, experience in managing longer-term procurement and marketing projects across an eCommerce channel is essential. This managerial level role will be responsible for the procurement and purchasing team, and business strategy as part of a wider development team, therefore, it is essential that applicants have management experience.
The company is one of the UK's leading independent stockists and distributors of high-quality professional hand and power tools, storage equipment and power tool accessories, supplying to professional building and construction tradesman as well as the keen DIY enthusiast.
As a Supply Chain Manager your duties will include:
•Developing and implementing the eCommerce commercial trading strategy – planning stock availability for new and existing products
•Leading the procurement and purchasing team to ensure KPI’s are achieved and sales targets are met in conjunction with the Service Delivery Manager
•Analysing and developing the supply chain and procurement processes
•Managing the promotional planning across all categories
•Ranging analysis to ensure the strongest possible product mix is achieved ensuring customer expectations are surpassed
•Liaising and building relationships with key stakeholders/teams within the wider business
•Completing budget/P&L responsibility with accountability for achieving annual revenue and margin targets

In return, the Supply Chain Manager will receive a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE plus medical insurance and 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
