Caritas Care are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and capable person to help us to take our fundraising operations to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long-established and well respected charity with a presence across the North West. We provide a wide variety of services including adoption & fostering, services for people with learning disabilities; and community projects, including a hostel for homeless people in Blackpool; resettlement services for ex-offenders and a Community Centre in Preston.
Our mission is to provide more chances, choices and opportunities for vulnerable people to live better lives
We do not currently raise a significant proportion of our funding from fundraising effort, and we know that needs to change; as we merge into a changed world, we are eager to explore new options and directions for the future.
Working to the Director – Adult Services and Operations, and other staff you will have the opportunity to forge and develop with us, a more effective approach to fundraising so we can do even more as a charity. You will help to organise events, build and sustain links with local businesses and get involved in grant and other funding bids. You may also assist in researching Trusts and other philanthropic routes into funding what we do.
We will be very flexible to your individual circumstances, and are keen to explore what you have to offer. You may have experience, either personally or professionally, in fundraising and want to use your knowledge to make a real difference to the lives of others. We will provide expenses, a friendly working environment and high quality support.
If you think you can help us to make even more of a difference please do get in touch.
For an informal discussion, please contact Dale Tomlinson, Director – Adult Services & Operations on 01772 732313
